What we offer to you:

• Every Attendant get a small Pocketmoney of 200 Euro
• Accomondation in a Hotel or a Guesthouse or something similar and provisions during the weekend will organised
• Wood , oil and petrol will be for free
• Your family is very wellcome but have to pay for themselves
• We also can offer a transfer from the Airport/to the airport and a chainsaw for a limited number of attendants who have to come by Airplane
• The carved sculptures will stay in Wolfach to become part of the Sculptureway which we built since the last 5 years

What we await:

• Every artist has to build a sculpture during the two days which will stay in Wolfach.
• Knowhow in the handling with the chainsaw
• Working only with protecting clothes
• Health insurance or abroad health insurance.

How your application has to look like?

A written Letter to Claudia and Rolf Sauer, Im Grund 14, 72275 Alpirsbach, Germany or a mail to info@schwarzwaldschnitzevent.de.
We need your privat dates (Name, Age, Adresse, motiavtion etc).
From every new artist we need a few photos from the sculptures you made before.
The topic of this year will be Christmas.
Now it's on you to do a little brainstorming and make a small adumbration. We still have got a nativity scene and the animals, so it should be something else which belongs to christmas in any way.
Instead of christmas it also could be a raftsman.
We're curious about your ideas!
Our Businesspartner will take a look at all of them and then he's going to choose his favourites to invite them to Wolfach this year. Maybe you're one of them?!


Who can applicate?

Everyone who is agree with the conditions and belive in hisself to build a great sculpture during two days can make an applictaion.


When is the decisiondate of who is in and who not?

In the beginning of March we have a meeting with our Businesspartner in Wolfach and strightafter that we can give you the information if you are in or not. Everyone who send us something written will be in the selection. We only can invite 40 artists (that's the absolute maximum!).

Closing date for the application will be the 29th of February 2012
