This year the event will be the 6th time and we warmly invite you to be there on the 09th and 10th of June when 40 artists from Germany and all over the world will magically create delicate and intricate sculptures with their heavy chainsaws. The 6th International Black Forest Chainsawcarvingevent will be, like last year, on the grounds of the Dorotheenhütte in Wolfach.

The Highlight on both days of the event is the Black Forest Team Speedcarving Masters 2012. At this competition, there will be teams with 4-5 carvers who have 45 minutes to carve together a bench. Every Artist has 5 minutes to carve at the bench bevor a signal give the sign for the next one of the group. After the 45 minutes every group has manufactured a bench which can bought strightly after the competition for the person bidding highest.

At Saturday and Sunday the teams will carve from 14.00 o'clock to 14.45 o'clock. Strightly after the benches are finished there will be an auction. The team who sold their benches for the most money on both days will be „The Black Forest Team Speedcarving Master 2012”. After the big auction there will be the award ceremony.
